What participants have said about San Diego Pain Summit…
Dozens of articles and blog posts have been written about San Diego Pain Summit and can be read on the About Page.
“I have attended both in-person and online over the years & both have been fantastic! I was able to convince a few of my co-workers to attend virtually this year (2023) & our team has been buzzing with ideas and things that we can do differently to better serve our patients and community. Hands down my favorite annual educational opportunity.”
- Nate Hadley, physical therapist
“I was floored by the level of discourse that dominated the San Diego Pain Summit. What the pain research field has yet to learn is that cross-fertilization between leaders in different disciplines is essential in progressing our understanding of how pain impacts the whole person. It’s about immersing yourself in where the field is heading and re-experiencing that inspiration that led you to fall in love with your profession”
-Melissa Farmer, Research Assistant Professor, Department of Physiology, Northwestern Feinberg School of Medicine
“San Diego Pain Summit is the most incredible conference I have attended so far! In a world where it can sometimes feel like you are bombarded with information overloads, it’s important to have people who can guide us towards clinically useful, scientifically informed learning opportunities, and Rajam brought great speakers who were insightful and informative, and some were very entertaining as well.”
-Firmansyah Purwanto, physical therapist
It was a privilege to be part of a group of people who are open to explore pain, its meaning and alternative paths to management. I gained much from the experience and continue to from the connections made and the links through social media. The understanding of pain and its management around the world needs a revolutionary shift – and it needs conferences like this to help promote this culture change.”
-Peter O’Sullivan, Professor of Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy at Curtin University
